    - In the 1st and 2nd grade, 24 hours of studying & living
    at the Waldorf Leura Gardens Resort on Blue Mountain will provide hands-on experience in hotels 
    - Help you to think of school dorms as virtual hotels and school restaurants as virtual restaurants and experience them in advance.
    - Starting from the first semester of the first year, industry placements will be started
    - Learn all tasks related to the hotel, including food and beverage service, front desk, housekeeping, and running an event.

    ▶ Providing working experience through paid internships
    - 1,200 hours of paid internship included in the undergraduate course (1 600 hours in the first grade, 600 hours in the second grade)
    - Over $20,000 income can be generated through a one-year internship.
    - Partner with world-famous hotel chains such as ACCOR, SOFITEL, Marriott, CROWN and Hyatt
    - hourly pay for paid internships: $24.45, $29,34 on weekdays, $34.32 on Sundays, $53.79 on holidays

  • Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) at Torrens University offers scholarships to students commencing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

Conditional admission

  • This course requires above IELTS 6.0 however students can enroll BMIHMS without IELTS results after finish language course from Torrence University's affiliated English School.

  • The residential Leura Campus has well-appointed accommodation, modern teaching facilities and a real hotel. 

    Our Practical Learning Centre on the Leura Campus is home to first and second-year undergraduate students. This is where you’ll complete your practical training in food and beverage, event management, housekeeping and front office duties.

    Students live in twin share hotel-style rooms, which contain a television, a private ensuite bathroom, a telephone line and 24/7 Internet access. Rooms are cleaned weekly and all linen is provided. Single rooms with en-suite are limited, subject to availability and incur additional costs.
