  • Focus of Study :
    International College of Tasmania t/a TasCollege General English offers a range of English classes in Melbourne and Hobart to prepare the student to live, study and work in Australia. Our General English program focuses on foundational language and skills you need, providing a solid base in grammar and the core skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

    Benefit, Goal of this course :
    TasCollege General English (ELICOS) program is aimed at non-native English speakers or people with a minimum to average level of English competency. Students will learn with experienced and qualified teachers in small class sizes. The objective of this General English-speaking course is to help you gain confidence in everyday situations and prepare you for real-life English-speaking environments. This course also prepares the student to pursue the vocational education and training in Australia.

    Curriculum :
    TasCollege offers General English at five different levels i.e.
    • Elementary
    • Pre-Intermediate
    • Intermediate
    • Upper Intermediate
    • Advanced

    Classroom Hour :
    Intakes : Every Monday
    Course Duration : 10-60 weeks (Including holidays)
    Study Mode : Face-to-face on campus delivery
    Study Hours : 20 hours per week

Facilities

  • TasCollege provides students with access to a comprehensive range of books in its own library. These materials may be accessed for study use. Students are reminded to return the borrowed material by due dates and observe copyright laws when using resources. Students will be required to pay for loss or damage to resources. Students can also get access to the public library State Library of Tasmania which is only 7- minutes’ walk away from TasCollege. It remains open from 9:30 am to 6 pm.
