Course information

  • The AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology reflects the role of individuals who service, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components in vehicles in the automotive electrical service and repair industry.

    This program will be delivered face to face in the classroom and an automotive workshop. There is also an online support session of four hours per week. The program will be delivered over 52 weeks (holiday inclusive) with 20 contact hours per week which includes theory education in the classroom and practical training in the fully equipped workshop facility in accordance with a structured approach which meets the requirements of the qualification.

    Besides the above-structured learning, students are advised to do appropriately 10 hours per week of unstructured learning.

    Applicants will need to have physical attributes suitable for working in the automotive industry that encompasses manual handling of equipment including lifting and carrying heavy objects within scope of safe working practices.
