  • In the midst of internationalization, for enthusiastic people to gather together to learn, to seek better exchange of ideas and to contribute to the development of culture and industry not only lead to personal enrichment but at the same time represent ideals all people seek. The Academy is founded in Yokohama, a prominent international port city, where access to downtown Tokyo is only 20 minutes. It boasts Minato-Mirai 21 (the New Port City Plan for the 21st Century) and Pacifico Yokohama (international convention center), Yokohama Museum of Art and Landmark Tower, all of which are located close by the Academy. Our location makes the Academy a perfect institute for Japanese language education which is sure to become a stepping-stone towards a bright future. In this marvelous environment, the Academy strives to cultivate a sense of internationalism and open-mindedness as well as provide high quality education in Japanese, and hopes to encourage mutual understanding through the Japanese language.

Course Information

  • Focus of Study :

    For students who wish to study one to two years on a Student Visa.

    Students learn techniques to pass the Exam for Japanese University Admission, and the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, while at the same time developing a natural conversation ability, all based on a foundation of integrated Japanese studies.

    Morning or afternoon classes (two-shift system).


    Benefit, Goal of this course :
    - Supplemental study of subjects (physics, math, etc.) that appear on the EJU offered.
    - For students who are at an appropriate level of Japanese and wish to enter graduate school in Japan, a special preparation class is available.
    - Support and guidance are provided for students advancing to institutes of higher education. Information are constantly updated and seminars are held throughout the school year.

    Curriculum :
    Elementary Level, Intermediate Level, Advanced Level, Seminar

    - Students learn kanji, vocabulary, reading, grammar, writing, listening, and conversation.
    - Preparations for the JLPT and EJU are emphasized and mock exams are provided.
    -To meet the students’ needs, complimentary review lessons in grammar and kanji are available for elementary level students and advanced level students take elective classes twice a week.
    - In-depth tutoring is offered for students writing application essays and preparing for interview tests.
    - Understanding of Japanese manners and customs are incorporated throughout the coursework.

    Afternoon classes: 13:10-16:30

  • 12 years of formal education or equivalent, as well as the ability to provide certification required. Exceptions may be made for students who do not intend to pursue admission to an institute of higher education.


    * Applicants must at least understand hiragana, katakana, and simple greetings before they start classes.

  • About student dormitories
    This is a dormitory type dormitory with shared kitchen, dining, toilet and shower. You can live together while interacting with students from various countries in Japanese. You can walk to the school from the dormitory. There are convenience stores, supermarkets, post offices, banks, etc. in the neighborhood, making it a convenient environment for living. All have several nearest stations and are very convenient for transportation.

    * A dormitory fee, deposit, utility bill, and fire insurance will be charged separately.
    * The first time is a half-year contract and full lump sum payment.
