Why This School?

  • - Since 1995 we have taught Spanish to students from more than 50 countries on 5 continents.
    - Alicante is located in a privileged location on the shores of the Mediterranean and enjoys a very mild temperature throughout the year.
    - The Spanish courses welcome around 2,500 students per year and have a faculty of highly qualified teachers with extensive experience in teaching ELE.

  • Welcome to the Website of the Higher Language Center of the University of Alicante. The Center is located on the University Campus, a cosmopolitan area with nearly 30,000 students, full of green areas and designer buildings with large facilities for students; all just 15 minutes from the city center of Alicante, in the heart of the Mediterranean. From this idyllic environment we offer our Spanish and Language Courses, in addition to our Translation and Conference Organization services, and other complementary services such as Accommodation, Cultural Activities, Linguistic Stays and Scholarships abroad or Immigration Consulting. We also organize preparation courses for official English and Spanish exams for foreigners. We are an examination center for various Diplomas with international recognition: DELE (Instituto Cervantes); SIELE (International Spanish Language Evaluation Service).

About the  Universidad de Alicante

  • The University of Alicante (Valencian: Universitat d'Alacant, IPA: [univeɾsiˈtad dalaˈkant]; Spanish: Universidad de Alicante, IPA: [uniβeɾsiˈðað ðe aliˈkante]; also known by the acronym UA) was established in 1979 on the basis of the Center for University Studies (CEU), which was founded in 1968. The university main campus is located in San Vicente del Raspeig/Sant Vicent del Raspeig, bordering the city of Alicante to the north. As of 2011/12 academic year, there are approximately 27,500 students studying there.

  • Shared Flats
    We have an extensive database of shared flats whose owners accommodate students at the University of Alicante, Spanish and/or other international students.
    All flats have internet connection and they are localized in the center of Alicante and within easy access of the Campus.
    Prices depend on the characteristics of the apartment, ranging from 300€ to 350€ per month per room (individual), not including expenses, (water, electricity, gas, etc.)

    Homestay
    This type of accommodation offers you the possibility of learning more about Spanish culture and practicing your Spanish outside the classroom. The families registered with our service have many years of experience and know exactly how to communicate with students all over the world and make the student feel like one of the family.
    All our families are localized in the center of Alicante and within easy access of the Campus by public transport.

    University Halls of Residence
    We offer accommodation in the University Halls of Residence at special conditions and/or rates for students at our Accommodation Service.
    All Halls of Residence we work with are located very close to Campus.

Getting to the school from the airport

  • We offer you a pick-up service from the arrival place (airport, train/bus stop) to your accommodation place.
    - The price of the service is 55€ per person and it is available 24 hours per day, all week.
    - If you want to use our pickup service , you should indicate it in your application form for accommodation.
    - If you have not applied for accommodation, you should fill the following form in order request the pickup service from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 2 pm.The service must be requested more than 48 hours before the pick-up date.
    - You will receive the payment confirmation with all the information and phone number. In case of any flight delay, or change of schedule, you must contact the pickup service by phone.
    - No refund will be given if a student doesn’t show up at the meeting point on schedule.
