    Our Vacation English courses are a great way for you to explore a new country and learn the language while you’re on holiday.

    Benefit, Goal of this course :
    Vacation English courses run from two weeks to as long as you’d like to stay, and take up around four hours a day, five days a week.

  • Taking one of our English courses in Torquay is a great way to get to know one of Britain’s most popular seaside cities. If you want to be close to the ocean and learn English in a relaxed, beautiful location, then Torquay offers a great mix of bustling city life and quiet seaside. Our English school in Torquay is only a 3-minute walk from the town center, which has great shops, restaurants, pubs and bars.The town is also well known as the birthplace of Agatha Christie. The surrounding countryside (Dartmoor National Park) is renowned for its beauty and is ideal place for walks.

Getting to the school from the airport

  • Kaplan Transfers
    Students should arrive at London Heathrow, Bristol, Exeter or Plymouth airport. We can book your transfer for your journey from the airport to Torquay. An optional meeting service is available from Heathrow, where a college representative will meet students on arrival at the airport and see them on to the National Express coach to Torquay. Taxi transfer prices for 2011 are: Exeter Airport £70 (one way), Bristol Airport £105 (one way), Heathrow £205 (one way). Kaplan Transfer Service must be arranged in advance.

    Scheduled bus from Bristol Airport to Bristol Temple Meads rail station. Departs Bristol Airport bus station from 0300 hrs and every 15 minutes until 0033.
    -Journey time: 25 minutes approx.
    -Price £6 single, £9 return.
    Followed by train service from Bristol Temple Meads to Torquay. Departs Bristol Temple Meads from 0530 and approx. every hour until 1944. Journey time: 1 hour 30 mins (direct) or 2 hours (one change at Newton Abbot or Exeter St. Davids).

夏休みの旅行も兼ねて短期留学して来ました＾＾

トーキーは港町なので海のすぐそばです。
アガサクリスティ誕生の地という事でアガサクリスティにまつわる名所や
博物館などあって、推理小説好きの方にはいいんじゃないかと思います。
学校はこじんまりとしていて、フレンドリーな感じです。
中庭にはプールもあり、使用出来ます。
海がすぐそばなのでプールで泳ぐ人はあまりいませんでしたが。
授業は会話や文法、リスニングなど満満遍なく取り込まれた授業だと思います。
短期間でも色々なことを学べましたし、クラスメイトと仲良くなって
国際的な友達が出来たのが良かったと思っています。

我也來暑假出國留學^ ^
託基是一個港口城市，因此它非常靠近大海。
作為阿加莎克里斯蒂的出生地，阿加莎克里斯蒂的景點和地方
有博物館等。我認為這對那些喜歡偵探故事的人來說很有好處。
學校很小，很友善。
庭院裡有游泳池，可以使用。
因為海邊就在附近，游泳池裡游泳的人並不多。
我認為在整個對話，語法，聽力等課程中都會教授課程。
我可以在短時間內學到很多，與我的同學相處融洽
