Rose of York English Language School London (established in 1989) offers an extensive range of courses including full time General English at all levels, Business English, a 2 year Academic Business English course, examination preparation classes for Cambridge and IELTS, Cambridge Business English exam courses, a unique professional Internship Scheme and one to one private tuition tailored to your needs. This school also offers part time or intensive courses. There is also a lively social programme. All social events and trips, such as picnics in Regents Park, guided tours of galleries and museums, visits to historical cities and, regular parties and pub nights are accompanied by teachers so you can practise your English, learn about British culture and have fun!

Study English for 3 hours a day, 15 hours a week. Improve your speaking, grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, writing and pronunciation. Regular tests and progress reports from your teacher enable you to see continuous improvement. This course is a popular choice for students on a General Student Visa. You can study for any number of weeks from 1 to 48. If you would like to study for a year, you can choose between 32 and 48 weeks study and take a holiday when you need it- up to 12 weeks. At Rose of York we allow you to decide how much holiday you want and when you want to take it. You can start your course any Monday. The cost of the materials is not included in the course fee. Students studying 2-48 weeks are expected to buy one course book per term. Each term lasts 10 weeks.

 

Each course has a set holiday allowance (see price list). The course holidays are in addition to the course length. For example, if you study for 48 weeks, you can take a maximum of 12 weeks holidays, making a total of 60 weeks between your start and finish date (if you take all your holidays). Students can take as much or as little holiday as they wish, up to the course maximum. Students can choose when to take this holiday. To book holiday, just go to reception in advanced and book it there. The school is closed for 2 weeks over Christmas and the New Year. This is not included in the course holidays.
