EP Birmingham About the

  • Our Birmingham campus is located in the city’s famous Digbeth area. Named the Coolest Neighbourhood in Britain by The Sunday Times, Digbeth is packed with independent shops, creative agencies, and dazzling street art. With plenty of transport links, it is easily accessible from the city centre. The campus itself is just a ten-minute walk from the Bullring & Grand Central shopping centre and Birmingham New Street rail station. In addition to ten state-of-the-art classrooms, equipped with projectors and interactive screens, you’ll also find a dedicated student common area with cooking facilities and a café overlooking the courtyard.

Course Information

  • Focus of Study :

‘Build confidence, work hard and have fun - Lay the foundation for fluency’

The General English programme develops your English language and communication skills, giving you the confidence and ability to function in everyday situations. Through a communicative approach, you will practise your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. There are also many opportunities to learn these skills in a variety of ‘real-life’ situations. You will also be able to improve your pronunciation and develop your grammar and vocabulary range.

English Path offers six levels of General English from Beginner to Advanced. Our Beginner level class accepts students with very little exposure to English. Lower level students may also choose to increase their progress by taking additional 1-1 classes. In contrast, our Advanced General English class is for students with high level communicative skills. Some students may consider an 'Intensive 40' course or a 'Semi intensive 25' course to accelerate their learning or go on to study an examination preparation course. For those students who would like more time to explore the city in which they’re studying, we recommend the 'Classic 20' or 'Semi-intensive 25' course.
