Beijing University is a university in Beijing, China. Founded in 1898 during the Qing Dynasty, it is the oldest national university in China. The school name at the time of its establishment was Gyeongsa University, and since 1916, it has undergone university reform and established a three-year pre-school system. It was changed to a four-year university in 1931.After the anti-American aid movement in 1952, Mao Zedong carried out a national university reform, transferring teachers from the original Beijing University of Honglu, in downtown Beijing, to other universities.

After 1952, he opened a branch of economics, legal science in 1954 and political science in 1960. Since the 1990s, we have established additional areas such as business administration and education. In 2000, the Beijing Medical School (formerly the National Baping University Medical School) was merged into the medical department, and in 2005, the engineering department was restored to the epidemiology and informatics base.The school houses the 100th anniversary memorial hall of Beijing University, which was built in 1998, and a large library was built in the same year.Currently, the campus, which is used as the university's headquarters, is about 2.7 million square meters, and is adjacent to Tsinghua University and Zhongguancun Complex in Beijing, China.Beijing University was selected as one of the world's top 26 universities by the World Economic Forum.

You must complete the Chinese Proficiency Questionnaire before the course begins. The summer program evaluates students' Chinese skills based on survey results and assigns them to classes of various levels (basic, beginner, elementary, intermediate, advanced).The summer program has a small class of no more than 20 students. Less than 8 students will be canceled and students will have to choose a different course.
