  • LTL Mandarin School was started by foreigners who are united by one passion: learning Mandarin. We are all about studying, learning, teaching and speaking Chinese daily. From the start the aim of LTL had always been to create an immersive environment for students who want to learn Chinese as fast as possible. Our teachers went to their homes or offices to teach Mandarin a few times a week after work. This meant we had only limited opportunities to get them to be immersed into a Chinese language environment and just a few hours of instruction a week were not enough for rapid language progress. Therefore, LTL lunched a homestay service for student's growth.

    LTL (Live the Language) Mandarin School offers the chance for students around the world to study Chinese culture and Mandarin Chinese language in one comprehensive program. During their time with LTL at one of the locations (Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei and Chengde), students will be immersed in the Chinese culture firsthand, furthering their understanding and appreciation of the Chinese language. Students will better their Mandarin skills while experiencing true Chinese life with LTL!

Programs

Course Information

  • Focus of Study : 
    Learn Mandarin with other students in our small and intimate Chinese courses.

    Benefit, Goal of this course : 
    - You’ll have no more than five class mates and lessons last for 55 minutes.
    - The average class size consists of less than three.

    Curriculum : 
    Lessons are split into 70% oral and 30% reading and writing so everyday you learn something different

    Our Homestay option allows you to put into practice what you learn in your Chinese lessons. This is a great way to further speed up your Mandarin progress whilst becoming a part of a Chinese family. 
    Teach English Homestay
    This is a great budget option which still allows you to live with a Chinese family and become part of the family. Teach English, live with a Homestay and save 50% on the cost of a standard Homestay. 
    Apartments
    Choose from different types of apartment when coming to study Chinese in China at LTL. We have shared apartments, en-suite or even your own private studio apartment at great budget prices for you to choose from.

Activity

  • When you sign up to LTL you aren’t just here to study Chinese. You are here to discover a unique country and you’ll do this with your new LTL Family. We pride ourselves greatly on being a very close community and this runs through our core. Everyone is here for everyone whether you have language barrier issues, need help at the bank or simply want recommendations for Beijing. Also, we serve free beer at our school Mon-Fri after 5pm!
