    Intensive English Program is designed to increase students' fluency in as short a time as possible, and to introduce a range of specialist subjects taught in Special Interest Groups.

    Benefit, Goal of this course : 
    This course is one of the most popular courses across Kings' five colleges. It has the right balance of hours of study to maximise fluency in a short period of time. Aside from the hours of General English, you will be able to choose from a range of Special Interest Groups.

    Curriculum : 
    Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation
    The choice of subjects in Special Interest Groups will depend on the student's level of English and on the location, but might include:
    Communication Skills, Idioms and Further Vocabulary, Conversation Practice, Listening and Pronunciation, British Life and Culture, American Culture, Film Study, etc.

  • Students at Kings Los Angeles (Hollywood) can choose from a range of accommodation options that include student residences and homestay.
    Student Residence :
    - La Mirada residence: This new residence is exclusively for Kings’ use. It offers spacious, twin rooms with flat screen TV, and cooking and dining facilities within. All rooms are en suite. Students also have access to an outside patio area at the rear of the building for communal use.
    - Cassil Residence: Located directly opposite the main Kings Los Angeles teaching building, the Cassil student residence consists of twin rooms housed within communal living units. Each twin room has a kitchen, living and dining areas and an en-suite bathroom with shower/bath tub.
    Homestay half-board :
    - Single rooms year-round (twin rooms are available during the summer only or when booking two people travelling together)
    - Fully furnished room
    - Internet usage
    - One clothes wash per week

在課堂上常會玩有趣的遊戲，老師不論怎麼樣都會鼓勵你做的很好。學校在每天也會有不同的活動，像我有和同學一起參加球類運動，也有和學校的旅行團一起去滑雪，感覺生活很多采多姿又沒有考試的壓力。
是一個大都市，雖然也有一些不錯的景點，也可以在路上看到各式各樣各個國家的人，這人多車多的大城市，還真不習慣，我花了好幾天才適應過來。這次是我第一次自己一個人出國，除了待兩個月唸語言學校，結束後我還再到旅行，感覺這趟旅程最大的收穫是做了自己以前不敢做的事。在唸語言學校的期間，我周末都會自己安排各個景點去自助旅行，在旅行前不僅要做好功課，到了當地也要靠著地圖慢慢摸索，或是問旅遊服務中心。
住寄宿家庭，不過離學校搭公車通勤要三十分鐘，每天都會經過大橋，看到漂亮的海和無數艘帆船。我住的房間非常奢華，很大又一個人睡雙人床，還有一張書桌。對於住宿有一些限制，不過大致上還不錯，我有三個室友，偶爾也會和他們一起出去走走，感覺跟不同國家的同學上課很開心，也可以了解很多有別於台灣的不同的世界。

キングス語学学校で現在3ヶ月目の留学生活を送っていますが、とても楽しく過ごしています。
なんといってもアクティビティーが多いです！！
ほぼ毎日行われているので私は週に基本的に２、3回は参加しています。
毎日開催されているし、学生は参加自由なので学校が始まってから結構すぐ友達が出来ました！
毎日開催されているおかげか、クラス以外も学生もみんな仲がいいので、
放課後はクラス関係なく、よくみんなでご飯にいったりもしています。

授業内容は、グラマー単語など、バランスよく勉強します。
クラスの人数も多くないので質問がし易くて助かります。

現在は学生寮に住んでいますが、ホームステイもしてみたいので
来月からホームステイに切り替えようか考えています。
