  • Focus of Study and Benefits:
    The Vacation English Program offers basic instruction in the fundamental skills of English while still allowing plenty of time for students to explore the many fascinating cultural and entertainment attractions near the centers.

    Curriculum :
    The program places an exceptional emphasis on speaking.  Students will practice speaking skills frequently in class, receiving continual guidance and correction from their instructor.From beginner to high advanced, the program is divided into nine levels of study with 15 students or fewer in each class. The classes are held 18 lessons per week.Core class emphasizes on speaking, listening, reading and writing. English Everywhere program includes weekly Hot Sheets, involving students' host family, activity guides and staff in their learning process and Language Extension activities once per term, allowing students to use English in new settings and new contexts.

    With a stimulating combination of our Core Class and varied Academic Workshops, the General English program takes your English to new levels. Our Academic Workshops include pronunciation clinics, conversation clubs, homework assistance and more to advance your English skills faster and give you more skill practice.The General English program combines our core class with a variety of academic and informal methods to take your English proficiency to new levels. The classes are held 24 lessons per week. Lab-style Academic Workshop offers a range of academic options each week, including Pronunciation Clinics, Conversation Clubs, Homework Labs, Computer Labs, and more. Core class emphasizes on speaking, listening, reading and writing.     -Nine levels of study from low beginner to high advanced.-Small class sizes of 15 or less, guaranteeing individual attention from your teacher.-Core Class emphasizing the four key language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.-Elective Class devoted to a specific topic or skill, such as TOEFL, Slang, Business English, American Culture, Public Speaking, Grammar, Composition, and more.-Exclusive English Everywhere program with weekly Hot Sheets, involving students' host family, activity guides and FLS staff in your learning process.-Weekly English tests and individualized progress reports every four weeks.-Language Extension activities once per term, encouraging students to use English in new settings and contexts.-Readers to increase reading comprehension and understanding of American culture (for High Beginner and above).-Access to college computer facilities, libraries and labs at Citrus, Marymount and Lock Haven locations.-Access to numerous free activities and specially priced excursions.-Certificate of Completion upon successful graduation from each level.-Articulation agreements with numerous colleges allowing admission without a TOEFL score based on completion of the designated FLS level.-Personalized counseling and academic assistance.

    FLS' most popular program, the Intensive English Program includes 25 lessons of instruction per week from qualified, native-speaking teachers. The Intensive English Program is a comprehensive approach to studying English. Students will have the advantage of three different classes: an integrated Core Class at one of nine FLS levels, a focused elective class covering a specific skill or topic and an Academic Workshop to round out your school day. The program places an exceptional emphasis on speaking. Students practice speaking skills frequently in class, receiving regular guidance and correction from their instructor.

  • Focus of Study and Benefit :
    International students face many obstacles before entering an American college or university, such as achieving English fluency and obtaining high standardized test scores. The FLS TOEFL Preparation Program is specifically designed to give students a critical advantage in taking the most commonly accepted exam at American institutions

    Curriculum : 

    The intensive program includes a total of 36 teacher-led lessons per week:  18 lessons of integrated study to improve all English skills; 12 lessons devoted to specific TOEFL strategies and skills and 6 lessons of Academic Workshops for additional language practice and skill development. Students work with an experienced instructor to hone their ability in the interrelated TOEFL skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Practice exams allow instructors to analyze students’ abilities and familiarize students with the test format and strategies.

學校的活動很多,設施也會不定期更新,每個周末都有安排活動帶學生出遊,

老師教學方式活潑,也很有耐心,每堂課的內容雖然不同,但都注重再加強同學的聽說讀寫部分，
每學期舉辦兩次英語能力測驗的考試,便利於要進修的學生,也而外開選修課提供給學生參加.
學生都來自世界各地,不過大都來中東像是沙烏地阿拉伯,印度;以及韓國.日本.和中國各地的亞洲地區,除了可以認識各個地方不同的文化之外,也可以訓練聽除了美式以外的口音~~
這是一個以著名的旅遊城市這是著名的美食，音樂和歷史街區。
因為去附近旅行都很方便很近，因此常常與其他同學一起去旅行~~ 有很多很美好得回憶
