The IEI's Intensive English Program is a 20-hour-per-week academic program designed for students who want to develop skills they will need in undergraduate and graduate programs in US universities and students who want to build English skills for their professional career. In order to help students meet their goals quickly and effectively the Intensive English Program offers a variety of courses and uses the latest ESL teaching techniques. The University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign is a public research-intensive university in Illinois. Champaign-Urbana (C-U) has the friendly atmosphere of a small town, yet has the facilities of a larger city. It has a large international community and is within easy travel distance of Chicago, St. Louis and Indianapolis.
