About the  Newton international college

  • Welcome to Newton International College located in North York, Toronto. Founded in 2002, Newton is an accredited Ontario High School with the authority to grant an Ontario Secondary School Diploma to its graduates. Since its inception, Newton graduates have gone to the best universities in Canada and around the world. They have succeeded in engineering, business, science and art programs. New Mind, New Life is the school’s motto. It is embedded in the school’s culture. A flexible schedule with a variety of different level courses delivered by caring, qualified, knowledgeable teachers provide a high quality education with great success. The support of nurturing, responsive office staff and counsellors also help all students overcome daily stress and challenges.Newton graduates continue to be its best ambassadors. Course Information

  • Focus of Study :
    It is a camp that places value on improving English skills and international perspective through various Canadian cultural experiences. It is for 4th graders to 3rd graders in middle school and lives in the accommodation through homestay. (Assigning 2 Students to 1 Family)

    Benefit, Goal of this course :
    They take regular classes at local schools, tour major tourist attractions, and conduct cultural experience activities. Visit tourist cities such as Toronto, Niagara Falls, Niagara Ondrake, etc. to tour Toronto Daeha Bridge, CN Tower, Casa Loma, and experience various local cultures such as bowling and movie viewing.


    Curriculum :
    Arriving at Toronto Airport on January 16, Moving to Homestay Home
    Taking school classes from January 17th to 20th (09:00 to 15:00)
    January 21st, Casa Loma, CN Tower, Eaton Centre City Hall, Sunday Worship at Toronto's Korean Cathedral
    Taking classes from January 23rd to 27th (09:00 to 15:00)
    January 28: Niagara Falls Tour, Visit Niagara Outlet Mall, Worship Activities at Anglican Yonge Church
    Take classes from January 30th to February 2nd, and watch a movie at Cineplex Cinema from 14:00 to 16:30 on the 31st
    February 3-5, Ottawa, Quebec, and Monliol tour
    February 6th to 9th, I take the school class
    Return to Korea on February 10 (17:30, departing from Vancouver Airport)

    Newton Experiential Education Program (NEEP) with Schulich 
    Newton International College’s Future Talent Programme partners with Schulich Business School, York University. As the one and only high school Schulich Business School work with, we are committed to helping students step into the business world in advance and meet with professionals in different industries. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in the specialized business competition as well as experience job shadowing. A recommendation letter from Schulich Business School will be offered by the completion of the program.

    GLOBAL UNIVERSITY FAIR
    Since September, the ambassadors from well-known universities worldwide are giving info sessions to our students. They will directly connect with our students, bringing the latest admission requirements and answering a series of questions about the university, location, program, scholarship, employment opportunities, etc.

We are proud of our top-notch education, beautiful natural environment, and respectful communities. For a young person away from home, living in a homestay is an opportunity to become more self-reliant and self-aware. It’s a chance for students to develop confidence and learn to lead. It will also support academic success while helping them grow as a person.
    The homestay is usually a 10-15 transportation time from school, and it is located in a safe and quiet local community. All host families commit to providing nutritious meals, a nice living environment, and creating a safe, caring, and respectful experience. We establish close connections with each host family and communicate regularly to ensure the best living experience for every individual.
    We take the full responsibility for each student seriously. All host families are screened and identified with a strict background check. We know it can be a big step to leave home and live in a new city (and in many cases, country.) That’s why we do everything we can to support the transition and create a warm, encouraging atmosphere.

  • Newton International College is located in Toronto, Canada’s biggest city, which is recognized as the center of business, finance, arts, and education. In 2020, Newton acquired a new campus, located at the center of North York, and surrounded by parks and a safe community. It is close to the Sheppard-Yonge subway station and only a few minutes’ walk to the Toronto Public library, various supermarkets, and numerous fitness centers.
