Location

Accommodation

  • Host Family Accommodations in Spain
Living with a host family has two major benefits. First, it's the best way to get to know Spanish culture and see what daily life is like for a native Spaniard. Secondly, our host families will speak to students in Spanish 100% of the time, helping ythem practice the skills they're working on in class in an authentic context. The school’s host families vary from young families to one or two retired people, all Spanish speakers and are carefully selected to ensure that their stay be as pleasant as possible. The staff does their best to find home stays that will treat students as part of the family. The school will always try to accommodate students within 10-30 minutes - on foot or via public transportation - from the Enforex school, even in big cities like Madrid and Barcelona. Students may choose between a single or double room as well as half board (breakfast & dinner) or full board (all meals). If students have any allergies, special dietary requirements, dislike of particular pets or any other special requests, just let the school know in advance and the school will do their best to satisfy students’ needs.

    Student Apartments in Spain
If students want to make new friends from all over the world while studying Spanish in Spain, then this is the best option. The student apartments in Spain bring together international students from the Enforex school in a pleasant, open atmosphere. The apartments are not luxurious, but are completely furnished and equipped. No meals are offered but each apartment has a kitchen with a microwave, pans, cutlery and everything you might need to cook your own food. There are apartments of different sizes and characteristics, booked according to availability. Most of them are located within walking distance from the school or are accessible by a short ride on public transportation. Students can choose between a single, double or triple room.

    Student Residences in Spain
Student residences are centrally located in most of our Enforex cities, at a maximum of 20-30 minutes from the school. Choosing this type of accommodation will allow students to meet international and - in some cases - Spanish students in a stimulating and fun environment. Students may choose between a single or double room and half board (breakfast & dinner) or full board (breakfast, lunch & dinner). Access to a private bathroom may be possible. There are 4 different types of residences - availability varies by destination. All our residences offer wireless internet access.

    University Campus Residences
These residences are big (from 35 to 150 students) and are mainly for Spanish University students. University residences tend to be available only in the summertime, although in some cities, such as Valencia and Granada, students may be able to find a room during the normal school year. Because of limited availability, the school cannot guarantee a placement in these residences.

    Enforex Student Residences
These residences are much smaller (8 to 25 students) and are shared by international Enforex students. It is similar to a shared student apartment, but here students can have half board or full board and their clothes washed once a week. Family Style Residences Family Style Residences are small residences run by a family. The average number of rooms is 5 or 6, and in most cases the student rooms are located in a different part of the house. The family is in charge of cooking for the students, who may have the meals together with the family or in a separate dining room.

    Student Residences without Board
Although meals are not included in this type of residence, there is a large kitchen open at the students' disposal. This communal space is fully equipped with all the essentials: utensils, stoves, ovens, microwaves, electric coffee makers and refrigerators. There are also washing and drying machines available. Shared areas are cleaned once a week.

Surrounding Area

  • Seville, the provincial capital, seat of the government and parliament of the Comunidad Autónoma de Andalucía (Regional Government), is located in the southwest Spain. With more than 700.000 inhabitants, the city is home to nearly half of the province's population! The city of Seville is located on the Guadalquivir River, which crosses the city from north to south. The river can be navigated from Seville all the way to its outlet near Sanlúcar de Barrameda, on the Atlantic coast. In the past, the port of Seville played an important role in commerce between Spain and the Americas and today remains one of the most active river ports in the Iberian Peninsula.

Facilities

  • Enjoying the best of both worlds, old and new, the students will be able to take advantage of the many amenities, such as a fully equipped computer lab with free Internet and wireless connection throughout the building, spacious sporting areas and communal rooms where to carry out their research, relax or socialize, all within the unique environment of a historical building. Furthermore, the archeries around the courtyard, and the yard itself constitute a remarkable sample of traditional religious architecture, which, in turn, was often adapted in civil constructions in Spain, where the internal patio and the corridors around it that link it to the building provide a constant source of fresh breeze and a sheltered area where to enjoy the best of the weather.

Student activities

  • Sevilla Cultural Activities
The most common weekly activities at the Sevilla Spanish school, held during the afternoon / evening, are: Welcome dinner in a typical restaurant with a professor, Guided city tour through the most important and interesting parts of town, Visits to Sevilla's museums (Archaeological, Arts & Customs...), Spanish film nights, Visit to Maestranza bullring & bullfighting museum, Museum visits, Weekend Excursions from Sevilla. Sevilla's prime location allows students to offer trips to Portugal as well as local visits within the city, nearby beaches and small town treasures. These trips are scheduled for weekends.
