Colegio Maravillas Málaga About the

  • We have various courses not only Spanish language course but also Spanish plus lessons such as flamenco dance, cooking or handicrafts-ceramic. We are located in the center of the town Benalmádena which is only 15 min. away from Málaga International airport. Our town is surrounded by the beach, and the mountain. To study Spanish it is ideal place both the mild climate and the security.

Programs

Course Information

  • Focus of Study : 
    Focus on comprehension, communication, creative writing, idiomatic expressions and presentation of role-plays.

    Benefit, Goal of this course :
    The aim is to have the writing, communication and reading skills so that the students can use the Spanish language more fluently in daily life. With excellent materials and teaching methods, the student will achieve the knowledge of Spanish language and can benefit their requests

    Curriculum :
    We normally have 5 levels, A1 A2 B1 B2 C1.
    The course is in total of 20 hours per week ( 55min each lecture/ 4 lectures per day). We limit 10 students maximum. In the class, and the average number of the students in the class is 6.
    It holds normally morning lessons which is from 9am until 13.30 pm.
    We ask the student to take the level test before their arrival, and the texts book is included in the course. If the student is not comfortable in the level, she/he can always communicate us to change the level.

  • We offer host families, shared apartments, aparthotels and hotel/hostals.

Surrounding Area

  • We are in the center of the town of Benalmádena, and there are bars and restaurants, supermarkets, many shops, hospital, the sports center with ice skating rink, the biggest park in Málaga. Amusement park, cable cars, Delphine show area and the train station is all in the walking distance.

Facilities

  • A big terrace which is 600 m2, 20 class rooms, 1 audiovisual room, a canteen where you can take the lunch buffet, and a kiosk – chiringuito where you can purchase your drinks and snacks.

Activity

  • We offer arts or cultural seminars, tutoring (mini private lessons), movie session and paella parties are free of charge. At lunch time, taps tour is also popular.
    Also, visits to the winery, olive oil factories, and one day excursions such as famous touristic cities : Córdoba, Granada, Ronda, Seville or half day excursions to Nerja, Antequera, Málaga, Mijas etc.

Getting to the school from the airport

  • Taking our pick up service is the most easiest and safe way with our school staff. However, there is a train from the airport which runs every 20 min. Most of the Japanese students take the one way pick up service, and the way back taking the trains.
