If you need to pay for additional tuition, check with the school if it needs to be paid in advance or once you get to the school. Also if there’re any changes regarding to period of staying and moving to different residence, you must let the residence facility in advance. If you’re staying on-campus housing, contact to the housing office as soon as possible. If you will have your private residence, it also needs to be informed with your changed information.If you’re willing to stay with host family, it doesn’t really a problem to stay longer but it’d give you a bad impression if you don’t contact them as soon as possible and it can be a reason of having an uncomfortable study abroad. If you’re living in a dorm, it might be flexible but still needs to be contacted immediately in case of there’s no more available room.
