  • For over 50 years, students have chosen ELS to achieve their English language goals. With 12 class levels, state-of-the-art language technology centers, multiple testing services and university admission assistance, ELS ensures success through our personalized approach and commitment to student achievement. ELS' rapidly globalizing world presents many challenges; however, those challenges bring with them many opportunities. Being able to communicate effectively in English can help students make the most of these opportunities and enable student to accomplish his dreams. ELS International Pathways provide one with a seamless journey to further education. Students can study English with ELS in 83 different locations in 11 countries. By completing the ELS English for Academic Purposes program, student satisfy the English requirement for more than 650 ELS partner universities worldwide. ELS University Admission Services will guide students from start to finish as he progress toward his chosen university. Students will make new friends from around the world and come to understand their cultures. This will ensure one a successful journey through a rapidly changing, globalizing world.

About the  Stetson University Extension Campus

  • Stetson University is a private, nonprofit university with four colleges and schools located across the I-4 corridor in Central Florida with the primary undergraduate campus located in DeLand. The university was established in 1883 and serves for 3,900 students, undergraduates and graduates combined. Stetson ranks third in the category of regional universities and also third in Southern Masters-granting institutions. Other recent recognition include being ranked No.13 nationally for service and 11th nationally for research in Washington Monthly magazine's "2012 College Guide" to master's universities. The School of Music was named to Parade Magazine's national "College A-List" in the category highlighting Arts Programs and the School of Business Adminstration was named one of the nation's 300 best by the Princeton Review. The institution is also nationally recognized for its commitment to service and social justice-based community engagement and community-engaged learning.

    Rooms at the Holiday Inn - Main Gate East are double-occupancy rooms. Hotel is located approximately 2.5 miles (4 km) from the Center. Transportation will be provided to students twice a day, in the morning and after classes. Each room includes a high speed Internet, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, safe and TV with a free Disney Channel. This facility includes an exercise gym, heatedoutdoor pool, Jacuzzi, game room, food court, restaurant, coin laundry and a free scheduled transportation to Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Hotel is located across the street from Old Town entertainment complex and just 3 miles (4.8 km) east of the Walt Disney World Resort.

  • ElS/Orlando is located at the Stetson University Center in the town of Celebration, Florida, a suburb of Orlando. It is minutes from the area's theme parks, including Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios Florida, Sea World and about one hour from Kennedy Space Center and both the Atlantic and Gulf coast beaches. The Stetson University center is within walking distance of the charming Celebration Town Center with its lake, numerous shops, boutiques and restaurants.

  • Students from all over the world with different nationality and cultural background have chosen ELS program to study English in a new Environment. Majority of the students come from Asian countries including Japan (30%), Taiwan (25%) and Korea (20%). Some students from Central America (6%), Europe(9%) and Middle eastern countries (4%) have also chose ELS to enrich their English skills.

在美國的這段時間，除了上課之外，因為希望可以遊覽整個國家，所以也自己著手開始規畫行程。從最開始的規劃、自己找相關的資訊、報名參加活動，所有的過程都是自己獨立完成。之所以能夠自己一手完成這些，我想是因為在美國上課的過程中，學校老師給的鼓勵，所以在很多需要英語溝通的地方自己都變得相對於以往有自信，然而寄宿家庭也帶給我莫大的影響，他們教我用正向的態度去面對遇到的難題。我記憶中很深刻的事情是，有幾天我因為美國連續幾天的大太陽而顯得有些煩悶，然而家庭告訴我說：如果沒有這些太陽，你來到這裡就看不到這麼美麗的風景。雖然只是很簡單的幾句話，影響卻很大。在還沒有出發之前，我想我和很多人都一樣，認為出國是一件算還蠻了不起的事情，好像出去一趟就會有所成就，一切都會很順利，但事實上並非如此，不是所有的一切都像想像中美好，生活上還是會有許多大大小小的問題需要自己想辦法解決，藉由這次的留學也讓我成長了許多。
