Accommodation

  • New partnership with student housing platform HousingAnywhere
www.housinganywhere.com is a non-profit platform by students for students, which now offers housing worldwide. The Munich University of Applied Sciences has recently joined as a partner and thus offers its students an expanded range of housing.
Thanks to the contract with HousingAnywhere, students at Munich University of Applied Sciences now have the opportunity to make their living space available to international visiting students for the duration of their semester abroad. The advantages are obvious: on the one hand, there are no financial losses for the students during their stay abroad due to vacancies, on the other hand, the number of housing options at Munich University of Applied Sciences increases for foreign students.

Surrounding Area

  • Munich, Bavaria’s capital, is home to centuries-old buildings and numerous museums. The city is known for its annual Oktoberfest celebration and its beer halls, including the famed Hofbräuhaus, founded in 1589. In the Altstadt (Old Town), central Marienplatz square contains landmarks such as Neo-Gothic Neues Rathaus (town hall), with a popular glockenspiel show that chimes and reenacts stories from the 16th century.
