The bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences is the economic university for the economy in Berlin and Brandenburg. Under the guidance of the bbw Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft in Berlin und Brandenburg e.V. and the supporting Unternehmensverbände in Berlin und Brandenburg (UVB), it trains academic specialists and managers in business-related degree programmes with a practical orientation. The bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences is one of the biggest private, state-recognised universities in Berlin and Brandenburg and has its headquarters and roots in the region.
