  • The Goethe-Institut is a non-profit German cultural association operational worldwide with 159 institutes, promoting the study of the German language abroad and encouraging international cultural exchange and relations. Around 246,000 people take part in these German courses per year.The institute has developed a series of exams for learners of German as a foreign language (Deutsch als Fremdsprache, DaF) at all levels: A1 up to C2. These can be taken both in Germany and abroad and have been adapted to fit into the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the standard for European language testing. There is also one exam, the Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom, which is at a higher level than the highest CEFR level.

    Would you like to build up or improve your knowledge of German quickly? It’s possible in just 2 weeks with our Intensive German Compact course! Would you like to learn more and save at the same time? Then go ahead and book 4 or 6 weeks and get off to a flying start!
    In Berlin or Munich, we offer compact and flexible courses in the proven Goethe quality for beginners and advanced learners at levels A1 to C2. Our 2-week courses have an optimised course programme, enabling you to learn German particularly effectively and achieve learning success in a very short period of time. The courses always start on Mondays and end on Fridays.

    Course duration: 10 course days
    Total scope: 50 lessons (each 45 mins.) in two weeks
    Procedure: Monday to Friday, 5 lessons a day on-site at your Goethe-Institut
    Levels offered: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2
    Maximum number of participants: 16
    Varied culture and leisure programme

    Course fee: EUR 699*
    * For dates in July and August the course price increases to EUR 749.
