Course Information

  • Focus of Study : 
    Intensive English Program is designed to increase students' fluency in as short a time as possible, and to introduce a range of specialist subjects taught in Special Interest Groups.

    Benefit, Goal of this course : 
    This course is one of the most popular courses across Kings' five colleges. It has the right balance of hours of study to maximise fluency in a short period of time. Aside from the hours of General English, you will be able to choose from a range of Special Interest Groups.

    Curriculum : 
    Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation
    The choice of subjects in Special Interest Groups will depend on the student's level of English and on the location, but might include:
    Communication Skills, Idioms and Further Vocabulary, Conversation Practice, Listening and Pronunciation, British Life and Culture, American Culture, Film Study, etc.

    Homestays are all very carefully selected and regularly inspected by experienced Accommodation Officers. We have strong, long-term relationships with many local hosts including working families, couples, single people and retired people. All our hosts offer a warm welcome and comfortable accommodation.

    Crystal Palace Summer Residence :
    The newly updated residence has a parkland setting inside Crystal Palace Park. It is a 20 minute bus ride to College and just 20 minutes from central London. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV and its location overlooking the National Sports Centre means that students have access to superb on-site sports facilities including swimming pools, gyms, squash courts and a climbing wall.
    The Residence is open from 28th June to 9th August 2015.

    Kings London is located in a safe, green and prosperous London suburb called Beckenham. It is only 20 minutes by train to central London but does not have the noise, expense or uncertainties that city centre living can bring.

学校はロンドン中心部から電車で３０分弱の距離にあります。

ロンドンの郊外ですが不便ではなくすごくいい所です！
歴史のある語学学校で学べるということで
安心して学ぶことが出来ました。
学校は、何年か前にリニューアルして
とても綺麗です！
他の語学学校にはないであろう実験室とかがあり、
大学進学を考えている学生達に向けた教科科目もありました。
大人にも学生にもオススメな学校です＾＾

オックスフォードのセントマイケルズの方の
校舎でした。
市の中心地から近くお店も沢山あるので便利だし、住み易かったです＾＾
学校は綺麗でさっぱりしており、良かったです。
授業もしっかり教えてくれて
先生も親切でした！わからないとこはきちんと
質問出来る雰囲気と先生もちゃんと
わかるまで説明してくれました！
ホームステイもお願いしましたが、
適度な距離感を保ってくれる家族の方達で
過ごし易かったです。
