    At our Chinese school in Beijing you can enjoy a Chinese course in a natural environment while experiencing the fascinating culture of China and getting to know its people and traditions.   • Curriculum :
    Whether you are a complete beginner or simply wish to brush up on your Chinese, a semi-intensive language course at our Beijing Sprachcaffe / Languages PLUS school is bound to meet your requirements.This is the perfect compromise between learning the language and enjoying your free time. Four daily lessons guarantee effective learning, while the morning or afternoon remains free for extra-curricular activities. That way, you can discover Beijing and its surrounding area, get to know the Chinese culture and traditions, do sports and much more. The size of the semi-intensive Chinese courses in Beijing is limited to a maximum of 8 students, who always come from a wide range of countries and create an international atmosphere in the class.

    Course duration: minimum 2 weeks
    Classes: 4 lessons per day, each of 45 minutes, 5 course days per week
    Minimum age: 18 years old; 16-17 accepted with parental or guardian authorization

    Course structure
    The four lessons that you will have each day are as follows:
    1 lesson - grammar and general vocabulary exercises
    1 lesson - conversation
    2 lessons - reading, understanding texts, listening, writing
    The course structure may vary depending on the individual teachers and students. The topics usually refer to current articles from local newspapers and magazines. We work with texts that match the students' language skills. In this way, the texts and topics can be discussed actively by the group.

  • Apartment in Beijing:
    This beautiful, quiet apartment with a stunning view of the city is just 7 subway stations away from the language school and is thus very centrally located. Students share this fully furnished apartment with 2 bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. This accommodation may only be booked for a stay of 4 weeks or more. An overview of the facilities:  Single and double rooms , Fully furnished , 30-45 minutes with the subway to school Shared use of: living room, 1 or 2 bathroom(s) and the fully equipped kitchen , TV, refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioning/heating
     
    Residence in Beijing:
    The residence we have selected is centrally located in the heart of Beijing near the main shopping streets. To get to the language school you normally have to walk no more than 15-30 minutes.Double rooms may only be booked by language students travelling together (i.e. it is not possible to book “half” a double room). Room facilities include: toilet, TV, air conditioning, telephone and kettle Fully furnished Half board: breakfast in the residence, lunch in the school canteen (Monday to Friday) Regular basic cleaning Laundry service for a small fee

Surrounding Area

  • Our school is furnished in a mixture of Chinese and European styles, and is housed in a charming red building in the Imperial Ancestral Temple – in the Working People’s Culture Palace, in the building Wen Hua Gong (Mandarin Palace). This area - part of the Emperor Palace - is enclosed by the impressive beauty of the Forbidden City, with its century-old trees and beautiful gardens. The Forbidden City, the heart of Beijing, is without doubt the most beautiful and most peaceful place in the capital. In former times it has served as the residence of the Ming and Qing emperors. It is one of the largest and best preserved examples of ancient architecture in the world. The Forbidden City, with its beautiful structures and picturesque paths, is a popular place for the city’s inhabitants to relax in. The Tiananmen Square is just a few minutes walk away from our Chinese school in Beijing, where you can find the subway stations you can use to get to the hotel. The most famous shopping area in Beijing – the Wangfujing – can be reached in less than 10 minutes.
