The driver will meet you at the arrival gate after you have cleared customs and picked up your luggage; he will be holding a Hansa sign with your name on it. There is a charge of $100 for the reception at the airport and the transfer to the family home. A return transfer from the family home to the airport can be arranged for an additional $75.Well-travelled students with a good knowledge of English may prefer to take an airport taxi or bus from the airport to their accommodation. Taxis will generally cost between $40 and $70. A single adult fare on Toronto's public transit system (TTC) costs $3.00. The TTC is not recommended for people travelling with a great deal of luggage, especially during rush-hour periods.
