  • The Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology (frequently shortened to Niagara College and branded as Niagara College Canada) is a public College of Applied Arts and Technology within the Niagara Region and the city of Toronto in Southern Ontario, Canada.
    The college has four campuses: the Welland Campus in Welland, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Toronto School of Management Partnership Campus in Toronto and the Taif Campus in Ta'if, Saudi Arabia. Their Maid of the Mist Campus in Niagara Falls closed in 2018. With 9,000 full-time students, including more than 4000 international students from more than 60 countries, the college offers over 100 post-secondary diploma, baccalaureate degrees and advanced level programs. The continuing education division attracts approximately 15,000 registrants to more than 600 courses each year. Niagara College employs 291 faculty, 89 administration staff and 224 support staff and has graduated more than 50,000 students

Course Information

  • Focus of Study :
    Niagara College’s intensive English for Academic Preparation (EAP) program offers five levels of English language skill development, welcoming beginner through advanced English proficiencies, and are each four months in duration. The most rigorous language program at Niagara College, EAP is designed for secondary school (high school) graduates and English as a Second language (ESL) learners as the program focuses on preparing you for English language post-secondary studies and career advancement. Applicants to this program should be in the process of completing, or have completed, their final year of secondary school.Successful completion of the advanced level of the EAP program with a 70% average enables you to enter undergraduate programs at Niagara College – with no additional proficiency tests needed.

    Our EAP program is designed to strengthen all areas of your English Language skills with the ultimate goal of preparing you for the workforce or to allow you to continue your studies in one of our undergraduate or graduate programs at Niagara College. The EAP program is taught at our Welland Campus that sits on over 100 acres of land. This large campus is ideally located in a residential area that is close to restaurants, shops and nice, single family homes. Many of these homes are part of our Homestay program allowing our homestay students to live within walking distance of the school.

Patterson Campus located in Niagara-on-the-Lake , can be accessed via major highways and main roadways. The Welland Campus is a 90-minute drive to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and 2 hours to downtown Toronto, with the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake a 70-minute drive to the GTA and 90 minutes to downtown Toronto.
