  • Navitas at UNH is located on the main campus in picturesque and historic Durham, New Hampshire. Durham is only an hour's drive from Boston with both direct bus and rail links. The International University Transfer Program (IUTP) at UNH offers students an academic and cultural pathway into the University of New Hampshire. Navitas at UNH IUTP is equivalent to the 1st year of the UNH Bachelor Degree. Upon successful completion of the IUTP Stage II, you can transfer directly into the 2nd year of your degree program. Navitas at UNH offers classes in small sizes and get extra attention from their teachers. There are over 250 student clubs and organizations in which students can join and participate.

    The International University Transfer Program (IUTP) at UNH offers students an academic and cultural pathway into the University of New Hampshire. Navitas at UNH IUTP is equivalent to the 1st year of the UNH Bachelor Degree. Upon successful completion of the IUTP Stage II, you can transfer directly into the 2nd year of your degree program. IUTP Stage 1 provides students with classes in which students can develop their language skills required in the pursuit of studies in UNH.

    Benefit, Goal of this course : 
    Students who require additional English will start in our Stage I – IUTP English program. Depending on a student’s English Proficiency, this program can take between 1-3 semesters to complete.

  • The halls are grouped into three separate and very different residential areas: The Hills, The Valley and The Timbers. Each area has its own distinctive characteristics, inspired by its campus location and architectural style. Whether you choose to live in the tree-filled lanes of The Hills, amid the hustle and bustle of The Valley near downtown Durham, or in the heart of the first-year campus at The Timbers, UNH has the right housing option for you. UNH has co-ed and gender specific communities within their residence halls, as well as groups of students who share common interests such as sports, culture or technology. Single, double, triple and quadruple rooms, as well as on-campus apartments, are all available. Facilities vary between residential areas, but each area offers recreational and social centers, dining facilities, and a variety of fun activities throughout the year. All bedrooms are fully furnished with beds, dressers, desks, chairs, and closets or wardrobes, and the residence halls offer a variety of lounge spaces and kitchen facilities.

In the spring and autumn,hiking, biking and climbing are favorite pastimes and the snowy winter months offer locals and tourists an opportunity to ski and snowboard the mountains of northern New Hampshire.

Students can also become Orientation Leaders to help new students during their first weeks at UNH by creating an informative and fun experience. Some other leadership opportunities on campus include participation in the Residence Hall Council, and the Student Senate. Making friends and exploring the local area are important parts of adjusting to life as a UNH student. Through music concerts and performances, sports clubs and tournaments, and outdoor activities (hiking, skiing and swimming) students make friends and adapt to school life.

在出發前,其實對新罕布什爾大學沒有很大的認識,除了看過學校的照片,我不知道那裡長什麼樣子,就這樣飛了過去。在這多元文化的城市中度過,每天都是一個新奇的體驗,我去的時候是五月多接近夏天,最讓我覺得印象深刻的是,這城市每一兩個禮拜幾乎都有各式各樣來自異國的美食文化音樂舞蹈的活動。
我也很喜歡學校辦的活動,像是三天兩夜露營,當時就我一個臺灣人本來以為會不會融不進這團體裡,但我們十幾個人,來自好個國家的同伴一起滑好幾公里的獨木舟到營地,搬糧食,紮營,找木材搭營火,相處得非常愉快。每次想起來還是很懷念當時的場景。
每天下課最期待的就是在這陌生的城市探索,有時和朋友有時自己一個人,拿著地圖,查好交通路線,搭上火車,地鐵去認識這個城市去冒險體驗,這時也是認識美國這個國家和開口練習英文的好機會!
在這次短短三個多月的遊學中,我發現自己獨立了不少,很多事情都慢慢自己去解決。
我身邊突然也有了好多不同國家的朋友,每天我們都在用英文來分享學習不同的文化語言,還有一點是我學習聽到聽懂好多不同國家的英文口音,有時候也因為文化的不同發生一些有趣的小插曲。 
慢慢的,在這城市裡找到一種熟悉感,也漸漸喜歡上新罕布什爾這個地方!
