  • Established in 2007, Hawaii Palms English School has earned reputation for highly qualified language instruction courses despite of its recent foundation. Hawaii Palms works with extensively trained ESL professionals in order to promise students the best experience. All instructors have abundant experiences with many different international students. The school's English Intensive Course is a 6-week program that will boost students' English proficiency. With small class sizes, high quality lessons, ideal location and great support, Hawaii Palms offers students a remarkable experience. Hawaii Palms English School's mission is to provide equal ideal foreign language education to students whose first language is not English. The school wishes that students share different cultural backgrounds and make school a place of cultural immersion. Hawaii Palms will work to bring the student body, faculty and local community together.

Programs

Course Information

  • Focus of Study : 
    The course, divided into six different levels, aims to instruct students with appropriate means and methods. As students are assigned into level according to their English proficiency, the English Intensive Course will provide lessons on various areas of English in order to develop  ell-rounded linguistic comprehension among students.

    Benefit, Goal of this course : 
    Intensive classes are taught by the same teacher every day, allowing teachers to form a solid understanding on each student's background and personality. Teachers will offer Free Tutoring sessions of Fridays.

    Curriculum : 
    The course mainly uses Interchange textbook and Passages textbook published by Cambridge University Press. These materials include lessons on speaking, listening, grammar, writing, pronunciation and reading.

    Classroom Hour :
    Students will meet 4 hours a day, 4 days per week for a 12-week course. Students can enroll in either the morning session (8:30am - 12:30pm) or the afternoon session (1pm-4pm).

  • While the school recommends its students to stay with a local homestay family, living in a condominium is also an option. Hawaii Palms' homestay program will provide students with lively experiences. Host families will provide students with 2 meals per day. Condominiums are 15-minute walking distance away from the school building. Convenient facilities such as shopping center, restaurants, banks, beaches and post office are a short walk from the condominium.

Surrounding Area

  • Hawaii Palms is walking distance away from world famous Waikiki Beach and Ala Moana Beach Park. The school is also located near Ala Moana Shopping Center, local restaurants and shops that provide Hawaiian atmosphere.Student activities include monthly BBQ, hikes, visiting the beach, sporting events, shopping and overnight neighbor island tours.

　ハワイパームスイングリッシュスクールは、ワイキキのど真ん中の免税店すぐ隣、ワイキキビジネスプラザの７階にある短期留学専門の語学学校です。
　カラカウア通りに面した人気のショッピング地区でレストラン等も充実しています。
　コンドミニアムなども多く交通の便も良い、とても通いやすい学校です。
　ワイキキビーチまでも徒歩圏内で、放課後も充実したハワイ生活を楽しむことが出来ます。

大学の夏休みを使って短期留学をしました！
友達がハワイで大学進学をしたので、滞在中は友達の家に住んでいました！
1ヶ月の滞在で旅行メインの短期留学が目的だったので、2週間という本当に短期の留学でしたが、
とても楽しかったです！

学校は、短期語学学校ということもあり、小さく学生数も多くなく、
とてもアットホームな学校でした！
学生同士、講師の先生方もみんなフレンドリーだったのですぐ仲良くなれました！

授業も月曜日から木曜日までの週4の授業だったので
観光兼留学だった私にはぴったりでした！
