Focus of Study :
As its mission, IAE is committed to providing excellent English as a Second Language programs to non-native speakers who are serious about achieving the language proficiency needed to reach their educational and career goals, or simply for their own self improvement.

Curriculum :
IAE's programs run in 2 sessions of 9 weeks each. Students begin by taking a placement exam the week prior to beginning classes, and all new students begin their studies on Monday. The minimum enrollment period is two (2) weeks, and the maximum enrollment period varies, depending on the level of English skill the student arrives with, the English skill level students want to have when they leave, and the speed at which they progress through the program. Students who successfully achieve IAE's learning objectives are entitled to receive a "Certificate of Participation" when they leave IAE.The program is divided into 5 levels.

 

Classroom Hour : Classes are held 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Class schedule may vary for each level.

Home stay with American Family (minimum stay of 4 weeks) 

*Provides an opportunity to participate in the everyday life of an American home.Private or shared bedrooms

-One or two meals daily ( breakfast and/or dinner)

-Linens and towels provided

Newport Place offers furnished, short-term and long-term housing on a monthly basis. The accommodation is roommate-style whereby residents rent private bedrooms (or shared studies) and share the living areas. The majority of the residents are international and American students and interns.
