Facilities

  • Gaddy Hall

Gaddy Hall is Monroe’s newest construction on Main Street. Named in honor of James Gaddy, a former New Rochelle Schools Superintendent and longtime Monroe trustee, this six-story mixed-use building provides on-campus housing for 300 students. Gaddy Café, located on the first floor, opened in February 2016 and is the main dining hall where students may enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night dining 7 days a week during the semester. Students have numerous options, including a selection of delicious pizza, pastas, salads and more. The lower floors also house an outdoor courtyard, seven classrooms and offices for faculty and administrators.

Allison Hall is a six-story residence hall on Main Street, just a few steps away from the classroom. Allison Hall rooms are furnished with a twin size bed and mattress, a chest of drawers, and an armoire for each student. Each bedroom is equipped with a mini refrigerator and a television with basic cable service. All students who reside in Allison Hall must be on the meal plan, since there are no kitchens or kitchenettes in this building. The suite has a bathroom and central air conditioning. Every floor has a common area with cable TV, and is open and lit 24 hours a day for students to socialize and study. Additionally, the building has a fitness center, computer lounge and laundry facility. Security is provided around the clock.
