We are a mid-sized university with 6,600 students (20 per class). Lewis is one of many schools sponsored by the De LaSalle Christian Brothers, an international Roman Catholic teaching order, with more than 320 years of experience.Lewis University has 80 undergraduate (Bachelor’s) and 25 graduate (Master’s) programs that can be customized based on the specific interests and career desires.   • With over level 112 in ELS, students can be accepted to Bachelor and Master's programs. Both Undergraduate and Graduate schools issue a CLA to students.

    Description:
    Homestays are in residential communities near the Lewis University campus. Host family students are responsible for their personal transportation. Most students arrive at teh campus by bus or their own car.

    Students will be placed in one of the on-campus Lewis University residence halls.
    All housing is double occupancy:
    -Single-size beds, with linens 
    -Shared bathroom and showers
    -Free laundry on 1st floor
    -Shared kitchen with stove top, oven, microwave, and refrigerator
    -Free Internet

    Residence Hall, on the campus of Lewis University, offers student spacious double-occupancy rooms. Each room is equipped with a single bed, desk, chair, dresser and closet for each student. Linens are also provided.
    The Lewis Residence Hall has free laundry and free WiFi internet. The building also has a shared lounge with TV and billiards table. Students can also enjoy use of the shared kitchen with large refrigerator and stove. 
    Students also enjoy free access to the university swimming pool, computer labs, library, arcade and game room, and free admission to sport events. 
    The Residence Hall has secure access, and two university Resident Advisors living in the building to assist students. 

    All ELS students have free access to: 
    -Swimming Pool and sauna 
    -Volleyball and Tennis courts
    -24-hour Computer Lab with free printing
    -Fitness center and Gym
    -Game Room with Pool Table and big screen TV and Arcade

  • There are many fascinating places to visit, including Grant Park Zoo, the Field Museum of Natural History, the Shedd Aquarium, the Second City comedy troupe, the Navy Pier entertainment complex, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and professional American football, basketball, ice hockey and baseball games.
